Coordination is not optional when pressure is high. Single-orchard measures can fail if neighbors do nothing, because flocks simply shift. Producer groups can coordinate monitoring, deterrent timing, and even synchronized harvest to reduce the time window when nuts are most vulnerable.
From a contract perspective, buyers can require suppliers to document mitigation SOPs, nesting-season compliance, and monitoring records, including dates, devices used, and block coverage. That documentation can sit naturally inside an ESG and traceability pack without turning the relationship into paperwork for its own sake.
